How to choose the perfect fragrance?
Who does not like to have a scent that defines their personality? An aroma that makes us feel strong and sure of ourselves.
Have you ever heard of the olfactory pyramid? Good, because it is important to know it in order to identify what is your ideal fragrance, that will not leave anyone indifferent.
The olfactory pyramid refers to the process through which the aroma of perfumes passes since we spray it on our skin.. The fragrances do not have the same intensity or the same aroma throughout the day, rather, it evolves and its characteristics change as the perfume goes through the different phases from its application.
- output notes: It is the first contact we have with the perfume. They are usually fresh scents that last just a few minutes. At Instituto Español some of our aromas are litchi, pomelo, peony, Mandarin, bergamot…
- heart notes: It is the most identifying aroma of the perfume. It is usually perceived after approximately two hours from its application and last up to four hours. Among them predominate in our family orchid aroma, jasmine, thyme, nutmeg, lower leg…
- background notes: They fix the aroma of the perfume and last up to twenty-four hours. Among others, our base notes smell of sandalwood, incense, madera, white musk, vanilla…
So, when in doubt, always expose what your favorite aromas are, those who talk more about you, so you can get much closer to what could be your perfect perfume.
